Committed to expand healthier food offerings, with more fresh fruits and vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy, healthier packaged foods and healthier made to order or grab & go options. Twice Daily will also focus on in-store promotion of healthier products, as well as other tactics geared toward making the healthy choice the easy choice.

      Tri Star Energy continues to strengthen its commitment to increase access to healthier food and beverage options and is making progress toward meeting all commitment elements in its Twice Daily stores.

      Offer a minimum of seven (7) Grab & Go items, which meet PHAÕs definition of a Healthier Recipe.
    • Progress To Date

      Currently, Twice Daily stores offer five items meeting the criteria, making progress toward meeting the goal of offering at least seven Grab & Go items that meet PHA's definition of a Healthier Recipe at each Twice Daily store.

      Provide prices that incentivize the purchase of healthier Grab & Go items.
    • Progress To Date

      Tri Star Energy provided pricing for the five healthier Grab & Go items offered that is less than or equal to the pricing of comparable items that do not meet PHA criteria in all Twice Daily Stores.

      Institute a policy that requires a minimum of five (5) healthier products within three (3) feet of the point of sale counter in all stores.
    • Progress To Date

      Tri Star Energy has implemented the Esstar "Krista's Healthy on the Go" program in all Twice Daily stores. All stores with the Esstar program offer at least 14 products that meet PHA Healthier Food and Nutrition Product Criteria at the point of sale.
