Offer its animated content available, at no cost, to all public school systems throughout the U.S., so that as many kids as possible can benefit from its entertaining and instructional content that encourages nutritious eating and healthy lifestyles. As well as allowing use of entertainment characters, at no cost and solely for educational purposes, by school personnel or in school cafeterias, and following established nutrition standards to determine what foods and beverages can use its licensed characters.

      Make available the PROJECT, at no cost, to all public school systems in the United States (USA). NUTRI VENTURES will provide the episodes of the animated series to the extent that there is no conflict with any agreement made or to be made with other parties.
    • Progress To Date

      Nutri Ventures has continued to make available at no cost a Nutri-Guardians website. Instead of providing all content for free, Nutri Ventures now provides a sampling of materials for free and offers additional materials for sale. This site is aimed at US education and health professionals, such as teachers, nutritionists, nurses and doctors. The site offers 32 teaching materials, including video lessons, worksheets, and other education material, that contain information on nutrition and healthy lifestyles using Nutri Ventures animated characters. Nutri Ventures also continues to make available a website aimed at parents of children ages 4-10, which provided tools such as tips and recipes to help parents educate their children on healthy eating and an interactive game for kids (9 materials total). Since the websites officially launched in 2014, there have been 17,945 users and 102,809 page views.

“2017 was a great year for Nutri Ventures regarding the commitments to PHA. The animated educational content and part of the educational materials are now available, free of charge, to more than 18,000 teachers and health professionals, with and more than 5,000 acquired solely in 2017. Additionally, Nutri Ventures just started a historical campaign with McDonald’s Portugal to increase the consumption of fruit and vegetables within Happy Meals. If the results are good, there are great possibilities of reapplying this promotion in the McDonald’s of the USA.”
