Partner Statement

“After recently becoming a member of the Wakefern Food Corp., a retailer-owned cooperative, our company’s long term goal to open new stores in under-served areas remains steadfast, but the 5-year time commitment presents a challenge. In 2016, we have opened two new supermarkets in the Philadelphia suburbs of Brookhaven and Upper Darby and one new supermarket in Philadelphia’s Grays Ferry neighborhood. These three new stores created hundreds of new local jobs and provide improved access to fresh, healthy, affordable foods in areas that were previously in need. We look forward to continuing to grow our company and to serve those who are presently under-served with full service, state-of-the-art supermarkets.”
