Partner Statement

“Blue Sea Development is happy to report that the Prospect Plaza Site 1 development was completed in May of 2016, received over 41,000 applications and is fully occupied, and was the recipient of much media coverage, and received numerous national awards and sustainability certifications.  Prospect Plaza Site 2 is in the process of lease up (having received more than 50,000 applications) and is about 70 percent occupied.  Prospect Plaza Site 3 is currently under construction and should be completed in the latter part of 2018.

"Our Matinecock Court development is working its way through the final approval process and we hope to begin construction in the fourth quarter of 2017 with occupancy expected sometime in 2019.

"We unfortunately have to report that we are no longer proceeding with Bronx Commons due to a number of external factors, as can often happen in the affordable housing development world.  We are however, looking at a couple of new large scale developments that we very much hope and plan to bring Active Design into.”
