    Offer on the menu a minimum of one (1) wellness meal at each breakfast, lunch and dinner meal (if served).

    Progress To Date

    Oklahoma State University offers at least one wellness meal at every breakfast, lunch and dinner served in all campus dining halls. Wellness meals meet all PHA food and nutrition criteria and are promoted daily with signage at the point of presentation.

    Offer a minimum of three (3) types of fruits, three (3) types of vegetables, two (2) 100% whole grain products and no more than two (2) fried items on catering menus.

    Progress To Date

    Oklahoma State University offers a healthier catering menu, which provides well more than the minimum of three types of fruits, three types of vegetables and two 100% whole grain offerings. The menu includes no fried selections. All items on the catering menu also meet the University's Choose Orange Criteria which encourages students, faculty and staff to follow the U.S. Dietary Guidelines by encouraging variety, nutrient density, appropriate portion sizes and shifts to healthier food and beverage choices.
