Partner Statement

“2018/19 was a great beginning for the partnership between UT Arlington and the PHA Healthy Campus Initiative. A new committee for campus wellbeing was formed, and created several new opportunities for the campus community to become more physically active and nutrition focused. March of 2019 was a dedicated month to nutrition awareness, and featured learning opportunities, cooking demonstrations, a campus food drive, and increased access to the campus food bank. A new pre finals stress management was created called Care Week. Care Week featured many new physical activity opportunities, including GOAT YOGA! Students loved the opportunity to use new activities to help manage their stress at a very busy time of year. Many of our chosen initiatives have been submitted for review, and we’re excited to move forward with new ones.”
