Partner Statement

“Florida State University is excited to have completed our Healthier Campus Initiative with Partnership for Healthier America. Over the past three years, FSU has worked diligently to meet the PHA guidelines and positively impact the campus community through various health initiatives. In 2018, FSU added a key position- the Associate Vice President for Wellness – that further solidifies the university’s commitment to health and wellness; and focuses on important fitness, nutrition, and mental health initiatives. We are also proud of our newest grant-sponsored outdoor fitness court. The plans to install this world-class outdoor fitness system were set into motion in late 2018, and we are excited to see the finished product- which makes fitness available to anyone on campus at any time- in fall 2019. As we move beyond formal commitments to PHA’s Healthier Campus Initiative, we are dedicated to providing accessible health and wellness initiatives to the entire campus community.”
