Partner Statement

Dole Packaged Foods launched the Sunshine for All Cities program in 2020. The program is tackling food and nutrition insecurity across the country by providing basic nutrition and cooking classes, launching Sunshine Gardens and Orchards and providing access to affordable, healthy foods through the Good Stuff Kiosks. Good Stuff Kiosks feature fresh, healthy foods alongside shelf stable staple foods and a video screen that shares recipes and cooking tips.

The program has already received national, regional and local recognition by the media, the White House and the CDC Foundation through their Hunger, Nutrition & Health Action Collaborative.

During the summer of 2023, in partnership with PHA, the Sodexo Stop Hunger Foundation and Boys & Girls Clubs – we launched six new Good Stuff Kiosks across the country. This pilot program is providing daily access to healthy, nutritious food to thousands of families and seniors at reduced rates with the potential to serve millions of families by 2028.

We see firsthand the impact Sunshine for All Cities is having every day on the kids and families we are serving. Working with our partners, we have provided over 8 million servings of fruit, served over 50,000 meals, led over 4000 hours of cooking classes, and provided over 9,000 pounds of fresh produce.

We look forward to a continued partnership with PHA to continue spreading sunshine and good health across the country.
