PHA works with partners like Vintners Distributors, Inc. to transform the marketplace by ensuring that convenience stores across the nation are fully stocked with healthier options. Vintners, which owns and operates more than 120 convenience stores with 12 current Loop Neighborhood convenience stores in California, made a commitment to PHA on February 26, 2015. Over five years, Vintners plans to work toward enhancing healthier offerings, and provide bicycle racks and storage for patrons and employees. Not only that, employees will benefit from a 20 percent discount on fresh fruits and veggies purchases! And because we know shoppers respond strongly to marketing, convenience stores plan to market healthier options like water at the register!
Vintners’s work will not only transform the marketplace, but also the communities in which consumers shop every day, impacting many aspects of daily life.
“The concept for Loop Neighborhood was built around offering healthy options in addition to traditional convenience store items. Our partnership with PHA has enabled us to demonstrate the commitment we originally made to our stakeholders in California. We will continue our advocacy for healthy innovation in the convenience channel. We are committed to growing our healthy choice offering and look forward to sharing our results with PHA.
