    Commitment Element

Implement a system to evaluate the nutritional quality of at least seventy-five (75%) of food in inventory based on the US Dietary Guidelines.

    Progress To Date

Second Harvest Food Bank has categorized 95.5% of its inventory using a MyPlate-based system that places foods into 63 specific food categories. This is not a ranking system, however, as it does not compare food groups to each other. In order to increase healthy foods and decrease less healthy foods, some of the categories will need to be highlighted as ones to increase or decrease.
