    By the end of the commitment term, donate food and beverage products that meet Feeding America's Foods to Encourage criteria to local food banks or local food pantries totaling 100,000 pounds by weight.

    Progress To Date

    Cumberland Farms has exceeded its commitment of food donations that meet Feeding America’s Foods to Encourage criteria. Between September 2018 and September 2019, Cumberland Farms donated at least 175,195 pounds of low-fat milk, fruit, yogurt and eggs to 56 food banks and pantries in Connecticut and Vermont.

Partner Statement

The past year with PHA we were able to fulfill or commitment to providing a healthier product offering at our stores and donating over 100k pounds of healthy products to a great non-profit organization in Feeding America. It is very satisfying to aid an organization like Feeding America, who are so important now more than ever to provide families who don’t ’t know where their next meal is coming from. Our partnership with PHA has made us more aware of the trends in our industry and how we can stay on track to provide our valued guests healthful options on a daily basis. We will continue to keep in mind the great work that PHA does to spread vital information to those across the country of how to live a healthier life.
