Stir Fried Peppers

  • 2 cups Peppers; or a 10-oz bag of frozen peppers
  • 1 cup Onion
  • 2 tbsp Vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp Sesame seeds


  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Toss in sesame seeds and toast for a short time, about 1 minute. Remove sesame seeds and save. Add vegetable oil.
  2. When oil is hot and simmering, add peppers, onions and garlic. Toss vegetables in oil and let cook for 2-3 minutes without stirring to slightly char them. Then stir and finish cooking another 2-3 minutes, less if you like more crunchy vegetables.
  3. Add salt and pepper if desired. Top with sesame seeds when serving.
