Veggie Toast with Cheese
This is the healthier and quicker take on pizza! You can use your favorite veggies for a personal touch
Ingredients
- 4 slices of whole wheat bread
- ¼ cup of onions
- ½ cup of bell peppers
- ½ cup of zucchini
- ¼ cup of mushrooms
- ¼ cup of corn
- 1 Tablespoon of olive oil
- ¼ cup of parmesan cheese
- ½ cup of reduced fat cheddar cheese
- ½ cup of no salt added tomato sauce
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Roughly chop veggies of your choice: we used onion, bell pepper, mushroom, and zucchini Drizzle olive oil over slices of bread Spread unsalted pizza sauce over slices of bread Add vegetables and cheeses to the slices of bread, place on baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes Remove from oven and enjoy!
