There’s a good food movement growing in the Mississippi Delta. Through our GROW grants, Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) is helping community-based organizations in the Delta expand fresh food access and build a good food economy.

Here’s a look at how the inaugural round of GROW grants for Delta Hands for Hope, Delta Blues Camp, Tulane MB Church, Tri-Delta Agricultural Cooperative, But God Ministries, and Happy Foods Project are planting seeds for lasting change.

A Healthier Future, Rooted in Community

Each of these organizations brings a unique approach to solving the pressing food access challenges in the Delta, where underinvestment has persisted for generations. With support from PHA’s GROW grants, they’re rewriting the story and building systems of health, education, and economic opportunity rooted in dignity and local ownership.

Please donate to PHA’s GROW initiative now to make this work possible. 100% of donations go towards providing GROW grants that support small-scale, community-driven farmers, growers, and food entrepreneurs serving the MS Delta.
