Marissa Nelson

Marissa Nelson is responsible for leading Ahold USA’s strategic efforts on healthy living for customers and associates, sustainability and community giving, with a focus on Ahold USA’s Healthy Living aspiration: to provide healthy food for all, ensuring it is of good quality, affordable and available.

Previously, she led Ahold USA’s Merchandising Support Services and worked as chief of staff for the global CEO, supporting him in the development of Ahold’s Reshaping Retail Strategy, Better Everyday Promises and Ahold Balanced Scorecard. Additionally, she supported Ahold USA’s COO in the implementation of this strategy at the US company.
