Dr. Kelley Scanlon - Board Member
Dr. Kelley Scanlon is an experienced leader in nutrition and public health research with over 100 peer-reviewed publications. Her 35 years of federal government experience include 26 years at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) conducting and supervising applied nutrition research and 9 years at the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) directing research to evaluate 14 of the 16 federal food and nutrition assistant programs and providing administrative and scientific leadership in the Center for Nutrition Policy and Promotion.
Dr. Scanlon holds B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Nutritional Sciences, is a Registered Dietitian, and a graduate of CDC’s Epidemic Intelligence Service, a globally recognized training program in applied epidemiology.
