We’re Passing the Love to Families in Need

In conjunction with Higher Ground Productions and PHA Honorary Chair Former First Lady Michelle Obama, Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) has launched Pass the Love w/ Waffles + Mochi. This campaign is anchored in the show Waffles + Mochi on Netflix and is designed to meaningfully shift our food culture starting with good food, prepared and enjoyed at home. With support from our partners and individuals like you, we’re raising funds to distribute 1 million Pass the Love meal kits to families across the country.

Why This Matters

Food is the building block of good health. So food equity is about making sure everyone has affordable access to good, healthy food, and the opportunity for good health. Unfortunately, too many of our friends and neighbors lack that access, and the COVID-19 pandemic has made a bad problem even worse, pushing even more Americans into food and nutrition insecurity. Partnership for a Healthier America, through the Pass the Love w/ Waffles + Mochi campaign, is working to bring good food and new adventures to families around the country, doing our part to bridge the gap.
