Small Bites Lead to Big Change

Good Good is a campaign by Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA) that empowers people to make better food choices – one meal at a time. We’re not asking for radical action; it’s about small, doable steps like adding in or swapping in one better food option every time you eat.

Through events, influencer collaborations and partnerships with community organizations, PHA is helping everyday people eat one better to feel better than good — to feel good good.

Good Good Activations

In 2025, we launched Good Good in Indianapolis, Denver and Chicago, turning familiar spaces into vibrant hubs of food, culture, and connection. From block parties to farmers markets, we partnered with local leaders, chefs, and community organizations to create family friendly experiences that encouraged people to eat one better. Each launch reflected the spirit of its city, while reinforcing a shared message: small, everyday choices are the building blocks to a good, good life.

Indianapolis

PHA’s Good Good Food campaign launched in Indianapolis on June 25, 2025 with an event that brought over 1,000 community members together for a vibrant day filled with food, family fun and culture. We partnered with the City of Indianapolis, SPARK on the Circle and Downtown Indy to host the event in downtown Indy’s iconic Monument Circle.

We served up over 600 nutritious tastes from local chef Craig Baker and vendors including Mambo’s Cheesesteak Grill, Ms Murray’s Naturals, and The Live Project. At the event, PHA awarded $100,000 in grants to seven local organizations committed to improving access to healthy, affordable food.

Denver

The Good Good Food campaign made its debut in Denver on September 14th, bringing energy, flavor, and community spirit to Youth on Record’s annual Block Party.

With support from Youth on Record, the Denver Housing Authority, the City of Denver’s Department of Public Health & Environment, and Chef Carrie Shores of SAME Cafe, the event helped more than 650 families discover how they can make “one better” choice each day and make healthier food choices that last.

Chicago

On September 18, 2025, the Good Good Food campaign lit up Chicago’s Austin Town Hall Farmers Market with a lively, family-friendly block party celebrating healthy eating, music, and community.

Chef Sebastian White of The Evolved Network led live cooking demos with free samples, while DJ Lipgloss kept the energy high with music and a hands-on DJ’ing class. Guests also enjoyed hydration stations from Keurig Dr Pepper and explored a food budgeting hub powered by Amazon Access, learning simple ways to make “one better” food choice every day.

The event highlighted the new Forty Acres Fresh Market, which brings fresh, affordable produce to the Austin neighborhood.
