HONOLULU, H.I. (April 3, 2017) — Today Aloha Petroleum, Ltd. announced the launch of a two-month customer donation campaign with the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA). PHA is the nationwide nonprofit that works with the private sector to make the healthy choice the easy choice for busy parents and families. Throughout the months of April and May, customers at any Aloha Island Mart location can add a $1 or more donation at checkout to support a healthier future for our nation’s children.
“Half of the U.S. population visits a convenience store every single day, and they’re looking for healthier options more often. Aloha is leading the way as the first PHA partner in the state – and in addition to offering more choices for their customers, now everyone who visits any Aloha Island Mart store can be part of helping solve the childhood obesity crisis through this campaign,” said PHA President and CEO Lawrence A. We are building on our healthier food options in Aloha Island Mart stores, and will continue to make those choices more affordable while supporting healthier options through in-store marketing and promotions.
