Innovative Changes in the Confectionery Industry

From smaller packaging to fewer calories, the confectionery industry is in for BIG changes!

Back in May 2017, five leading global chocolate and candy companies and the National Confectioners Association (NCA) came together for an innovative commitment with us that will ensure consumers have more information and options.

While NCA is still in the early stages of its partnership with PHA, there was no better time for PHA’s Amaris Bradley, Partnerships Director and Registered Dietitian, to sit down with NCA’s Chris Gindlesperger, Vice President of Public Affairs & Communications, for an update on how the confectionery industry views its role in helping shoppers learn more about what’s in their food – and of course, how much progress is being made in its commitment with us!

At first glance, it may seem like a very odd partnership – a leading public health nonprofit and the association representing candy and chocolate – but it all makes sense! Watch the video below to learn more about the partnership.
