Advancing Food Equity at the State and Regional Level

We’re combining national best practices with local knowledge and resources to uplift health across food systems through a project in the Mississippi Delta.

Working in partnership with community stakeholders throughout the Mississippi Delta, we are co-creating a multi-year plan to grow a sustainable, resilient food ecosystem centered on health promotion and community ownership.

Through this project, partners collaborate to identify scalable, replicable programs, business models, and policies that will provide opportunities for and engage the next generation, utilize new technologies, and uplift the people, cultural traditions, and locally grown crops of the Delta.
