Temryss Lane

Temyrss Lane is a speaker at Partnership for a Healthier America's 2017 Building a Healthier Future Summit. Temryss Xeli'tia Lane is from the Golden Eagle Clan of Lummi. She is a water protector, an Indigenous soccer scholar, sports broadcaster, soccer coach and former professional soccer player. Lane holds a master’s degree in American Indian Studies from UCLA and is an active Nike N7 Ambassador, working to create access to sport for Native youth. She strives to generate spaces of visibility that prioritize the Indigenous voice and empower Native ways of life for Indigenous women and their tribal communities.
