Honey Mustard Broccoli Salad

This recipe is a healthier take on traditional creamy broccoli salad — but still just as delicious.


  • 1 pound broccoli florets, chopped (about 4 cups)
  • ½ cup sunflower seeds
  • ½ red onion, finely chopped (about ½ cup)
  • ⅓ cup raisins
  • ⅓ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • ¼ teaspoon salt


  1. In a large mixing bowl, add in chopped broccoli, sunflower seeds, onion, and cherries into a large serving bowl.
  2. In a separate bowl, add in all the dressing ingredients (olive oil, vinegar, mustard, honey, garlic, and salt). Whisk to combine.
  3. Pour the dressing over the salad and stir until all the broccoli is coated in the dressing.
  4. Set in the fridge to marinate for at least 20 minutes, or overnight, before serving.
