Hendrick Motorsports Running Drink Up-Inspired Paint Scheme This Weekend


Washington, D.C. (July 31, 2015) – Race car driver Kasey Kahne’s #5 Aquafina Chevrolet SS will have a refreshing new look with a Drink Up-inspired paint scheme at Pocono this weekend. Aquafina is a supporter of the Drink Up campaign, an effort that encourages people to drink more water more often.

Launched in 2013, Drink Up has more than 50 supporters including bottlers, filtered water companies and fountains. It is led by the Partnership for a Healthier America (PHA), which works with the private sector and First Lady Michelle Obama to make healthier choices easier for busy parents and families. Drink Up has enjoyed support from celebrities including John Legend, Chrissy Teigen, Curtis Granderson, Cristina Saralegui and others. Aquafina has been a valuable partner since the campaign launched and helped facilitate involvement from Kasey Kahne at this weekend’s race.

“I always make sure to drink enough water throughout the day – whether I’m on the track, working out, traveling or even just at home, I really try to make a conscious effort to hydrate,” said Kahne. “I’m excited to support the Drink Up initiative’s partnership with Aquafina and help to encourage people to drink more water.”
