Frank Beard, Analyst/Evangelist for Convenience Store and Retail Trends at GasBuddy, is a speaker at the Partnership for a Healthier America's 2017 Building a Healthier Future Summit. Frank Beard is an Analyst/Evangelist for Convenience Store and Retail Trends at GasBuddy. Last year, Beard visited more than 1,000 convenience stores in 24 states and created the 30 Days of Gas Station Food experiment – an effort to dispel the myth that eating out is unhealthy. Motivated by the successful maintenance of an 80 lb. weight loss and a demanding travel schedule, he spent one month documenting his experience eating exclusively at gas stations. Beard has spoken to industry leaders such as Core-Mark and Harbor Wholesale Foods, written for NACS Magazine, and presented at the 2016 NACS Show.
