Beverly J. Smith

Beverly J. Smith is National Senior Program Director for the Local Initiatives Support Corporation’s (LISC) Sports & Recreation Program. Since December 2000, she has managed LISC’s partnership with the NFL Foundation, providing financing and technical assistance to neighborhood-based organizations, parks and recreation departments and other community-based organizations across the nation to improve the quality, safety and accessibility of local football fields for youth. Smith also manages LISC’s collaboration with ESPN/Disney Worldwide Services, piloting an effort to increase access to basketball courts in underserved neighborhoods.
