Dr. Sally Rockey
Executive Director of the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research (FFAR)
Dr. Sally Rockey became the inaugural executive director of the Foundation for Food and Agriculture Research (FFAR) in September 2015. Her role, and that of FFAR, is to develop innovative private/public research partnerships to advance agriculture. She has been a leader in federal research, overseeing the operations of extramural programs in both agriculture and biomedicine. With 30 years leading these programs, first at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and then at the National Institutes of Health, she led many groundbreaking initiatives and activities in research administration.
